Union, N.J. (5/3/25) – The Kean University softball team erupted for 10 runs, outpacing The College of New Jersey in a crucial elimination game at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament.

Things didn’t start well for the Cougars (21-21) as they fell behind 2-0 in the third inning when Julia Kinnally brought in two runs with a single.

However, in the fifth inning, the Cougars answered back. They loaded the bases with consecutive bunt singles and a walk. Following an out, they scored their first run on a wild pitch, cutting the deficit.
