Keke Palmer recently shared the moment she realized she was famous. This revelation happened when she appeared on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” During the episode, she talked about her career, her experiences as a mother, and the role that made her feel like a true celebrity.
For Keke, the turning point was starring in the Nickelodeon show True Jackson, VP, which debuted in 2008. “When I did ‘True Jackson, VP,’ everything changed for me,” she said. But before that, she was already a talented child actor. She appeared in the movie Akeelah and the Bee and Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion.
Palmer described a moment at Universal Studios that felt like an “a-ha” experience. She was enjoying the day with family when unexpectedly, hundreds of fans descended upon them. “In that surreal moment, I realized life would never be the same,” she said, feeling both overwhelmed and amazed.
Two years ago, Palmer embraced a new role as a mother to her son, Leo. She expressed how much joy he brings to her life, sharing that he’s already starting to mimic her mannerisms. “He’s coming into his personality,” she said with pride.
Keke also talked about her family’s unique legacy of having twins. With both of her parents and her siblings being twins, she shared, “I would love to have twins! I come from such a big family. I live for the idea of saying, ‘Come on, crew!’ and having a whole bunch of them.”
