The Oregon volleyball team battled back after losing the first set against Oregon State, securing a 3-1 victory (23-25, 25-20, 27-25, 27-25) in Corvallis. This win marked the 100th career victory for head coach Trent Kersten and improved the Ducks’ record to 8-1 for the season.
With this latest win, Oregon has now dominated the rivalry, clinching 11 straight victories over the Beavers.
In the first set, after a tie at 20-20, Oregon State surged ahead, taking a 23-21 lead. A successful challenge for Oregon allowed Valentina Vaulet to score a crucial point, tying the game. However, Oregon State closed out the set with three consecutive points.

The fourth set saw Oregon trailing again before Clemente sparked a comeback. The teams exchanged points, but Oregon pushed into the lead late in the set. Facing a set point, Clemente delivered a pair of powerful kills, and Tabacuks sealed the match with an ace.
Looking ahead, Oregon faces Portland State next for their non-conference finale.
