Join Us for the Be Seen with Green Kickoff!
On May 1, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, come to the Spring & Main Patio in downtown Lima. The Mental Health & Recovery Services Board (MHRSB) is kicking off Mental Health Awareness Month with a special event!
This free celebration will promote mental health awareness and encourage everyone to light up Lima in green throughout May. You can grab green lightbulbs, window clings, and Be Seen with Green t-shirts, while supplies last. Plus, enter to win a raffle for a gift basket worth $200!
The Be Seen with Green campaign invites the community to show support for mental health. Wear green, decorate your space, and share local resources all month long. Don’t forget to post your green looks on social media with the hashtag #BeSeenWithGreen to spread the word about mental health.
Did you know that according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 adults experiences mental illness each year? Raising awareness can make a real difference.
The MHRSB is also offering free, anonymous online mental health screenings. These screenings are a great way to check in on your mental well-being, even for loved ones. Find them at wecarepeople.org/screening.
For more information, reach out to the MHRSB at (419) 222-5120 or visit wecarepeople.org.
