Liberty Lacrosse Team Seeks First Win
In Lynchburg, Virginia, the Liberty lacrosse team faced a tough match against No. 25 Richmond, losing 16-6. It’s their fourth consecutive loss this season, and they continue to search for their first win. The game took place at the Liberty Lacrosse Field, where Richmond quickly established a 9-1 lead before halftime.
Charlotte Edwards was a standout for Richmond, scoring five goals. Her teammate Alexis Morton added two goals and three assists. This victory was particularly sweet for Richmond, avenging a narrow loss to Liberty from the previous season.
