Willis scored an outstanding 7,550 points, marking a personal best and contributing significantly to Liberty’s strong showing. This performance puts Willis in a good position for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships next month. He became the third Liberty athlete to win the decathlon title in three years, proving the program’s consistent strength.
In the women’s competition, Bryan’s score of 5,591 points not only secured her victory but also broke her own program record. Her win highlights her impressive skill, as she dominated the final events, including a top performance in javelin and an impressive finish in the 800 meters.
