Dancing With the Stars had a thrilling episode this week, celebrating Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. Fans were treated to group dances, breaking the cast into two teams, each joined by co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro.
Sadly, this episode marked the end for Danielle Fishel and her partner Pasha Pashkov, who were eliminated. Ribeiro announced that the couple with the highest score would gain immunity from next week’s relay dances, along with bonus points for the special upcoming 20th Birthday Party episode.
Whitney Leavitt and Alix Earle both scored 39 out of 40, tying for the highest of the night. However, Leavitt received immunity by virtue of her cumulative scores throughout the season.
The remaining cast includes social media star Earle, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, and conservationist Robert Irwin. These competitors have captivated audiences with their diverse backgrounds and talents. For instance, Leavitt is known for her role on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, while Irwin continues his family legacy of wildlife conservation.
Unfortunately, Elaine Hendrix had to cope with an injury, which prevented her from performing live during Halloween Night. Instead, she received a score based on rehearsal footage. She is eager to return and expressed that she feels “very solid and strong and grateful” since the setback.
With only eight celebrities left, the competition is heating up. After Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, there are just three more episodes, including a thrilling three-hour finale on November 25. Interestingly, none of the couples have managed to earn a perfect score yet. This could change soon, especially with Flavor Flav guest judging alongside regulars Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.
During individual dances, the standout performers were Earle and Leavitt, both of whom were just one point shy of a perfect score. Chiles and Irwin followed closely behind with scores of 38 each.
Last week’s Halloween special saw couples dance to spooky tunes and compete in a marathon. There were surprises too, including the elimination of Jen Affleck and her partner Jan Ravnik. The Hollywood Reporter was on-site to capture the moments not shown on camera.
Each week, the couple with the lowest combined score from judges and viewer votes is eliminated. Live voting happens in real-time during the East Coast airing, creating a nail-biting experience for fans.
As the competition progresses, the excitement builds. Fans eagerly watch to see who will take home the mirrorball trophy this season. Can anyone finally achieve a perfect 40? We’ll have to wait and see.
