Logies 2025: Shocking Snubs—MAFS, The Block, MKR Stars Left Out of the Celebration!

The 65th Annual TV Week Logie Awards are just a week away, set to celebrate the best in Australian television. This year, the nominees include a mix of familiar faces and beloved shows across various networks and streaming platforms. However, not every star will be strutting their stuff on the red carpet.

Many popular reality TV contestants have been left out this time. For example, none of the participants from the latest season of Married At First Sight received an invite. Jamie Marinos shared her disappointment, stating that she had already planned a trip to Europe, not entirely trusting that an invitation would come through. She expressed regret that the cast couldn’t celebrate together, noting their knack for making any event lively.

In a similar situation, contestants from the latest season of The Block have also missed out. Ricky Recard said they had hoped to be included but understood the challenges of accommodating everyone. Despite this setback, he remains proud of the show and its potential to win the Best Competition Reality Program.

First-time nominees from The Real Housewives of Sydney are feeling the sting of exclusion too. Victoria Montano recognized that production likely prioritized other attendees over the cast, considering they contribute heavily to the show’s success with little compensation.

My Kitchen Rules has also left its recent contestants at home. Champion Simone Preste will be busy opening a new restaurant instead of attending the awards. Meanwhile, MasterChef judges Poh Ling Yeow and Sofia Levin will grace the red carpet, with Poh up for the Gold Logie.

Some past winners, like Farmer Wants A Wife and Australian Survivor, are absent from the guest list. Farmer Bert Harris mentioned that the producers were more likely to attend than the show’s participants.

Interestingly, Australian Idol will have its winner, Marshall Hamburger, on the red carpet alongside host Ricki-Lee Coulter. Marshall expressed excitement for attending his first Logies and even shared outfit ideas, showcasing his enthusiasm for the event.

Lastly, the cast of Travel Guides, who have won the Logie for Best Lifestyle Program for three consecutive years, is optimistic about another win. Bri Auty highlighted their anticipation for the event and the chance to celebrate another nomination.

The Logies will air on Channel 7 and 7plus on August 3, with the red carpet kicking off at 7 PM, followed by the ceremony at 7:30 PM. The excitement is palpable, even for those watching from home, as fans anticipate who will take home the prestigious awards.
