WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams have officially extended the contracts of general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay. This news, announced on Monday, marks an important milestone for the team as they move into their tenth season together.
Owner E. Stanley Kroenke highlighted the notable achievements of McVay and Snead, emphasizing their strong partnership. He praised their ability to foster a winning culture and create a product that resonates with fans and the city of Los Angeles.
Since joining forces, McVay and Snead have built a formidable record. They lead the Rams with a 92-57 regular season record and a Super Bowl victory, alongside two NFC Championships and seven playoff appearances. Remarkably, they’ve maintained a winning record in eight out of their nine seasons together. Their success has placed them among the top NFL head coach-general manager duos in terms of wins.
“Gratitude and reflection” on their journey were central to McVay’s remarks as he acknowledged the special relationship he shares with Snead and the wider Rams organization. He stated, “We’ve always seen the game through the same lens. That connection has only grown over time.”
Another impressive aspect of McVay’s career is his age-related milestones. By 2025, he became one of only three head coaches in NFL history to record 100 wins before turning 40. His achievements also include becoming the youngest coach to win a Super Bowl and earn the AP Coach of the Year title.
