NEW DELHI: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M Ltd.) reported a 16 per cent rise in complete automotive sales, reaching 69,768 items in December, in keeping with their alternate submitting on Wednesday.
The firm achieved home sales of 41,424 automobiles in the utility automobile class, an 18 per cent increase, with complete sales together with exports reaching 42,958 automobiles whereas business automobile home sales reached 19,502 items.
“We sold 41424 SUVs, a growth of 18% and 69768 total vehicles, a growth of 16% in December. The year ended on a high, as we became the only Indian auto company to attain the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) world leader status within the auto sector. The DJSI ranking is one of the most respected global benchmarks for ESG performance, covering over 13,000 companies across various industries and we are ranked 1st among all global auto OEMs,” stated Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
Additionally, the corporate’s passenger automobile division recorded a 22 per cent increase in complete exports, reaching 402,360 items in the monetary 12 months 2025.
Meanwhile, its home sales in the farm gear sector reached 22,019 items in December 2024 in comparison with 18,028 items in December 2023.
The firm’s complete tractor sales, together with home and exports, reached 22,943 items in December 2024, in comparison with 19,138 items in the earlier 12 months. Export figures for the month had been 924 items.
“We have sold 22019 tractors in the domestic market during December 2024, a growth of 22% over last year. Sentiments have remained positive in December on account of positive cash flow momentum from Kharif harvest,” stated Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector. .
“Looking ahead, the tractor industry is poised for significant growth, underpinned by positive agricultural sentiments and favorable terms of trade for farmers. In the exports market, we have sold 924 tractors,” he added.
