Major Prisoner Exchange: Ukraine and Russia Trade 780 Soldiers and Civilians in Historic Deal

Russia and Ukraine recently conducted the largest prisoner exchange since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that more discussions are expected, but has also cast doubt on the legitimacy of Zelensky’s leadership, suggesting a need for new elections in Ukraine before any potential agreement.
