Manmohan Singh News: The rituals of immersion of ashes of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were carried out on Sunday (29 December) at Yamuna Ghat close to Gurudwara Majnu Ka Tila in Delhi. The final rites of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh were carried out with full state honors at Nigam Bodh Ghat yesterday (28 December). His daughter had lit the funeral pyre.

Paying tribute to Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister and senior Congress chief, Rahul Gandhi had mentioned, “Today bid a final farewell to Dr. Manmohan Singh, Dr. Manmohan Singh’s humility, guidance and his contribution to the country will always be alive in the pages of history. Will stay.”
