Yemen’s food imports grew by 5% from January to February. Still, issues with port infrastructure have hampered fuel import volumes, dropping them to their lowest levels in four years. Fuel shortages could disrupt milling operations and further spike wheat prices.

Due to a critical lack of funding, the World Food Programme (WFP) has had to cut its assistance. The new Targeted Emergency Food Assistance program only covers 1.7 million people, down from 3.4 million.
