Martin Scorsese has already stated he is engaged on a movie about Jesus, and now he is making a mission about saints. Scorsese will host, narrate and produce an eight-part docudrama referred to as Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints for the streaming service Fox Nation, it was introduced on Wednesday.

The collection will observe the lives of eight women and men who’ve been beatified, together with Joan of Arc, Francis of Assisi, Thomas Becket, Mary Magdalene and Maximilian Kolbe, a Franciscan friar who volunteered to die at Auschwitz to save the lifetime of the father of a household.

The first 4 episodes of Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints will debut in November. The remaining 4 will air by May 2025. The Oscar winner, who briefly pursued changing into a priest earlier than switching to filmmaking, advised the Los Angeles Times in January that his subsequent movie could be an adaptation of Shusaku Endo’s e-book ‘A Life of Jesus’.
