Sony is lowering the price of the PSVR2 headset for PS5. This change starts in March 2025.
The new price is $399.99 / £399.99 / €449.99, which is a nice drop from the old price of $549.99 / £529.99 / €599.99.
The PSVR2 comes in two versions. One includes a voucher for the game Horizon Call of the Mountain, and the other does not. Both will now have the same price.
Recent games for PSVR2 include titles like Alien: Rogue Incursion and Metro Awakening. Sony claims this is the best time to dive into PSVR2.
There’s also good news for PC gamers! You can now use the PSVR2 with PC, thanks to an adapter. This lets you play various VR games on Steam.
A new update brings “low-latency hand tracking” to the device, allowing it to track your hand movements without controllers.
