To start, you just need a door and some blocks connected together. According to Alex Olney, our senior video producer, the game will recognize it as an “empty house.” Your walls only need to be one block high, and you don’t even need a roof. Just keep in mind, if you take out any blocks, you’ll have to replace them to keep your house intact.
Once your building is done, decorate it with three pieces of furniture or a Ditto Flag to make it officially yours.
