Let’s take a moment to get to know Jeff Todd, the chief development officer at Launch Entertainment. He’s gearing up to speak at the Restaurant Franchising & Innovation Summit in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from March 11-13, 2025. During the event, he’ll join a panel to discuss how restaurants can diversify their revenue streams.

Since he joined Launch Entertainment in June 2022, Jeff has been driving the company’s growth. He manages everything related to franchising, from site selection to construction. His role is vital in helping Launch expand its reach in the family entertainment industry.

Before Launch, Jeff worked with successful brands like Maaco and Meineke. He honed his skills in franchise growth and market strategy at Driven Brands. His experience has made him passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences and helping businesses scale effectively.

Thinking back to his early career, Jeff started as an investment banker. He worked with firms like PNC and Wells Fargo, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. This role taught him the importance of understanding the overall value of a company, not just its financials. He realized that successful business relationships are built on creating lasting value for everyone involved.

Jeff’s journey into the franchising world stemmed from a desire for a balance between entrepreneurship and a stable business model. He witnessed many businesses struggle without a clear path for growth. Franchising, he believes, offers a structured way for owners to achieve their dreams while expanding a recognized brand. This two-way value creation inspired him to pursue a career in this field.

What he enjoys most about his job is witnessing the transformative power of franchising. Helping people transition from corporate jobs to owning their businesses is fulfilling. Seeing franchisees achieve their dreams and build lives for themselves and their families brings him immense joy.

Outside of work, Jeff loves to stay active. He has recently taken up whitewater kayaking, a thrilling way to connect with nature. He also enjoys golfing, even if he admits his game needs some improvement! Family time is precious to him, and he loves traveling. Recently, they explored Scotland and England, diving into the rich history and culture of the area.
