Meet Reagan Phillips: All-Star Athlete of the Scholastic Sports Team 2025!

Regan Phillips is a standout student-athlete at South Choctaw Academy in Toxey, Alabama. She juggles cheering with volleyball, basketball, and softball—all while maintaining an impressive 3.9 GPA.

Despite her busy schedule, Regan stays organized. “I push myself to be on time and keep ahead of my assignments. I like to get things done as soon as I can,” she explains.

Her coaches praise her leadership skills on and off the field. Whitley Robinson, her volleyball and basketball coach, notes, “Regan is a strong voice on the court. She knows the plays inside and out. Having her there makes a big difference.”

Cole Floyd, her softball coach, agrees. “She leads by example. If teammates struggle, she’s there to lift them up and maintain team spirit.”

Regan’s excellence isn’t limited to athletics. Nina Butler, a teacher at South Choctaw, remarks on her well-roundedness. “In my 27 years of teaching, Regan ranks among the top five students who excel in every area.”

Her selfless nature shines through in her interactions with others. “She helps younger students adjust, guiding them when they face challenges,” Floyd adds. Butler adds, “When someone is down, Regan is quick to offer support and encouragement.”

“I want to be an example for others. I hope everyone feels comfortable coming to me for help,” Regan shares.

Looking ahead, Regan plans to attend Coastal Alabama Community College after graduation to pursue a degree in nursing.
