Meet the New Faces: Please Don’t Destroy’s Ben Marshall Joins the Latest ‘SNL’ Cast Additions!

A few days after a big cast shakeup, Saturday Night Live (SNL) is adding new faces for its 2025-26 season. Among them is Ben Marshall, a writer since 2021 and part of the sketch trio Please Don’t Destroy. He’ll now appear as a featured player, alongside newcomers Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska.

This update comes after the departure of four cast members: Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim, and Devon Walker. This turnover marks the most significant change in the cast since 2022, highlighting the ongoing evolution of the show.

While Marshall steps into a new role, other members of Please Don’t Destroy are taking different paths. Marshall will leave the writing team, and John Higgins is also departing. However, Martin Herlihy remains a writer, and the trio will continue to work together on their outside projects.

Brennan, a stand-up comic, was recognized as a 2023 Just for Laughs New Face of Comedy and has appeared on The Tonight Show. Culhane makes a name for himself on platforms like Dropout TV and has been part of popular shows like The Sex Lives of College Girls and American Vandal. Kam Patterson is known for his stand-up and appearances on the podcast Kill Tony, while Slowikowska has gained attention for her sketch comedy and roles on What We Do in the Shadows.

SNL’s new season will kick off on October 4. This continued renewal of talent reflects the show’s commitment to bringing fresh voices and perspectives to comedy. As the landscape of entertainment shifts, SNL remains a platform where new performers can shine, and audiences can expect exciting content.

Stay tuned to see how these newcomers fit into the iconic show’s legacy!
