Ben Wulkopf, a redshirt sophomore, managed to earn a half point for the Knights in the same match. He started strong with a birdie, but the match ultimately ended in a tie after several ups and downs.

The Knights faced another team from Morehead in the second round, resulting in a 6-2 loss. Wulkopf shined again, defeating Clifton Scully decisively by 5 and 4. He took control early with a birdie and maintained a steady lead throughout.

Freshman Landon Stillwell also made his mark by defeating Evan Taylor 6 and 5. He quickly took a lead and never let up, sealing his victory on the 13th hole.
