The Monmouth University women’s rowing team put on an impressive performance at the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Cooper River.
Alyssa Taylor stood out, earning the All-CAA title for her contributions to the team. The crew had four events, with the Varsity 8+ posting the fastest time of 6:48.110— the best by a Hawk boat that day.

Varsity 8+: 6:48.110, led by coxswain Alaina Ruggerio and rowers including Addison Cohen and Alyssa Taylor.
Second Varsity 8+: Finished with a time of 7:12.343, featuring coxswain Hailea Anderson and rower Liz Coffman.
Third Varsity 8+: Finished in 7:41.380, led by coxswain Priscilla Weis.
Varsity 4+: Posted a time of 7:59.180, with coxswain Audrey Copeland steering the boat.
Head Coach Olivia Staff noted the team’s commitment to raising their standards and becoming more competitive. She shared, “Entering a Third Varsity 8+ for the first time is a major step forward and shows the growth of our team culture.”
