Mono Next Public Company Limited (SET: MONO) is making big changes. They’re revamping the MONO29 channel’s programming and boosting their Monomax streaming platform. This shift aims to attract sports fans and those interested in healthy living.
Starting in November 2025, MONO29 will increase its sports content significantly—jumping from just 4% to 38%. Fans can look forward to exclusive broadcasts of major events like the English Premier League, the Emirates FA Cup, and various Thai leagues. They’ll also feature shows for Liverpool supporters and other special content.
The channel isn’t just focused on sports. They’re also expanding their Lifestyle & Health segment from 8% to 18%. This decision reflects a growing interest in wellness trends. Movies and series content will take a backseat in this new line-up.
Monomax is strengthening its role as a go-to platform for sports lovers. Viewers can catch all 380 Premier League matches and 93 Emirates FA Cup games. In addition to live broadcasts, viewers will have on-demand options for convenience. The platform will also introduce workout programs, nutrition advice, and inspiring athlete stories as part of their new “Sport & Lifestyle Entertainment Ecosystem.”
CEO Mr. Navamin Prasopnet emphasizes that these changes create a seamless experience for sports enthusiasts. He believes this strategy will make sports more accessible to everyone and encourage healthier lifestyles among viewers.
This shift in programming comes amid a rise in sports viewership globally. According to a recent report by PwC, the sports market is projected to grow 8.5% annually through 2023, reflecting a shift in consumer preferences towards streaming sports content. This trend aligns perfectly with MONO’s new strategy.
As MONO aims to be a leader in Sports & Lifestyle entertainment in Thailand, they’re positioning themselves to offer an unmatched viewing experience for fans across the country. The excitement around this transformation is palpable, and it will be interesting to see how viewers react when the changes roll out.
