Community volunteers, including local scouts, played a big role in making the event a success. It’s wonderful to see young people stepping up to help their neighbors. During the event, participants also received cozy tie blankets and quilts, crafted with care by scouts and community members.
Denise Wiley contributed $500 worth of ground pork, thanks to the Benton County Pork Producers. The pantry expressed deep gratitude for such kindness, emphasizing how important community support is for families relying on their services.
The pantry operates monthly on Saturdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. If you plan to visit, remember to bring your own bags or boxes to carry home your food.
