CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald from HollywoodChicago.com recently joined The Eddie Volkman Show on Star 96.7 Joliet, where he talked about the new film “You’re Cordially Invited.” This comedy features big names like Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon and is currently available to stream on Prime Video.
In the movie, Will Ferrell plays Jim, a dad who is juggling a lot. His daughter Jenni, played by Geraldine Viswanathan, is about to get married, but things hit a snag when they accidentally double-book the wedding at a tropical resort. Competing for attention is Margot, portrayed by Reese Witherspoon, who is a determined TV executive and the sister of Neve, another bride. As both families come together, plenty of confusion unfolds. Expect laughs, catchy musical numbers, and even some unexpected moments like Jim wrestling with an alligator!
Since its release on January 31st, “You’re Cordially Invited” has been making waves for its humor and star-studded cast, which also includes Meredith Hager, Jack McBrayer, and Peyton Manning. This film was written and directed by Nicholas Stoller and is rated “R.”
