Tonight, the WPIAL girls basketball section play comes to a thrilling conclusion. Several teams are hunting for titles and playoff spots.
In Class 5A, Section 2 stands out as undefeated Penn-Trafford (20-0) takes on Indiana (16-4). The Warriors lead with a 1-0 record, while the Little Indians are close behind at 10-1.
Penn-Trafford has been impressive, winning every game by an average score of 58-34. Indiana has found its rhythm, winning five of its last six games since losing to Penn-Trafford on January 13. In that match, Penn-Trafford turned the game around after being down by nine points at halftime, finishing with a 50-37 victory. Isabella Fontana and Hanna Weishaar each scored 11 points for the Warriors, while Julia Antonucci led Indiana with 8 points.

- Section 3-4A: Mt. Pleasant (4-9) must win against Ringgold (1-11) and hope Yough (5-8) loses for a shot at the playoffs.
- Section 2-3A: Ligonier Valley and South Allegheny are tied with 4-8 records. The winner of their matchup tonight secures a playoff spot.
