NASA Discovers Ancient ‘Coral’ on Mars: A Billion-Year-Old Secret Unveiled!

NASA’s Curiosity rover recently captured fascinating images of a Martian rock that resembles coral. This small, light-colored rock was found in Gale Crater on July 24, 2023, and at just about an inch wide, its intricate structure is quite striking.

While it may look like a piece of marine life from Earth, this rock is actually a product of ancient Martian water. Billions of years ago, when Mars had more water, minerals were dissolved in it. Over time, this water seeped into the cracks of rocks, depositing minerals that formed solid veins. Erosion by wind shaped these veins into what we see now.
