NASA Sets the Record Straight: The Truth Behind the Alien-Made Comet and Interstellar Hype

NASA experts are doubtful about the claim made by Avi Loeb, a Harvard astronomer. He suggests that a new interstellar object, Comet 3I/Atlas, could be a sign of advanced extraterrestrial life and might pose a risk to humanity.

Loeb, who leads Harvard’s Galileo Project, pointed out that 3I/Atlas appears different from typical comets. Unlike known comets, it hasn’t shown the expected gas and dust tails. Loeb speculates this might suggest it was made by intelligent beings. He wrote, “If future observations show no cometary tail, it might indicate it was sent towards us on purpose.”

However, NASA assures the public that there is no need to worry. Tom Statler, NASA’s lead scientist for small solar system bodies, said, “It behaves like a comet.” He explained that all comets can show unusual characteristics, and this one seems to follow the same patterns as others. Statler noted it might be up to 3.5 miles wide and is zooming through space at an astonishing speed of 130,000 mph.
