CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona Collective Health Trust has brought in PYA, a healthcare consulting firm, to help monitor the commitments made during Banner Health’s acquisition of Wyoming Medical Center in 2020. This partnership aims to ensure Banner Health is meeting its promises to the community.
After a thorough selection process, PYA was chosen for its strong background in overseeing healthcare transactions. Trust board chair Eric Nelson highlighted the firm’s expertise, expressing confidence that their careful analysis will benefit the community.
Recently, PYA’s team visited Casper to tour Wyoming Medical Center. They met with leaders from Banner WMC and members of the Trust Board to discuss their plans.
Banner WMC CEO Lance Porter expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with PYA, emphasizing the importance of verifying the commitments made during the acquisition and the progress made in enhancing local healthcare.
Dave North, chairman of the Natrona County Board of Commissioners, shared his support for the Trust’s decision to involve an independent monitor, anticipating valuable insights from the upcoming report.
