NIA Raid: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday (19 December 2024) raided a number of areas in Bihar, Nagaland, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir in a case associated to arms smuggling. Investigation revealed that accused Vikas had bought AK-47 from an individual named Ahmed Ansari from Gopalganj, Bihar. After this he handed over the weapon to Devmani Rai of Muzaffarpur for safekeeping. After interrogation, accused Devmani took the police to the place the place AK-47 and 5 rounds of ammunition had been hidden.
