Danny Tamberelli, known for his role in Nickelodeon’s The Adventures of Pete & Pete, recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his co-star Michelle Trachtenberg after her passing.
In his touching message, Tamberelli reflected on their time together on set. He wrote about the laughter they shared and the fun they had playing pranks. “We grew up learning how to make people laugh,” he said. “Improv was just fun to us back then.” He fondly recalled Trachtenberg’s knack for playful mischief, especially her famous clothespin game.
He shared a funny memory: “Once, I got my first bass guitar on set. Michelle got upset when I didn’t hang out with her during lunch, so she hid my cable!” He described her as a vibrant personality who deeply cared for others, often advocating for those who needed help.
Tamberelli played “Little” Pete, while Trachtenberg was Nona, his best friend in the show. He admired her both as a professional and as a compassionate person. “Michelle was a role model in our industry and beyond. She will be greatly missed,” he added, extending his love to her family and friends.
Tragically, Trachtenberg passed away on February 26, just 39 years old. Her family has requested no autopsy out of respect for their religious beliefs.
