Nintendo’s Music App is gaining a new feature, scheduled for October 2025. Currently, you need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access it. The upcoming update will let you use certain functions of the app, like editing and sharing playlists, even if you cancel your subscription.

Recently, the app added 23 tracks from the Kirby and the Forgotten Land soundtrack. More music from that series will also come later this year.
