The Luzerne County Arts & Entertainment Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for its 2025 induction class. This honors talented individuals who have strong ties to Luzerne County and have made a mark in the arts and entertainment fields.
This special ceremony will be held in the fall and celebrates its third year of recognizing outstanding contributions. The Hall of Fame was founded in 2022 to spotlight artists and entertainers who have roots in or reside in Luzerne County.
Nominations can be made in two categories: Arts and Entertainment. For the Arts category, nominees should have achievements in areas like stage, film, television, dance, painting, sculpture, or artistic design. If you know someone who fits this description, please send their name to Tony Brooks at tony@wbpreservation.org.
The Entertainment category focuses on music, radio, and other media related to arts and entertainment, excluding news. You can submit names for this category to Jody Busch at jodybnytb@aol.com.
When nominating someone, include a short biography and reasons for their nomination. Be sure to submit your suggestions by March 1, 2025.
