In the match, Ohio State showcased exceptional skill with seven bonus-point victories. For instance, Nic Bouzakis dominated his bout at 125 pounds, winning by a major decision of 11-2. He got the crowd excited right away, scoring a takedown a minute into the match.

Next, Ben Davino at 133 pounds quickly followed suit, achieving a technical fall with an 18-3 score. Jesse Mendez also secured a swift technical fall at 141 pounds with a striking 17-2 victory.

The Buckeyes kept their momentum going, with Ethan Stiles pinning his opponent at 149 pounds in just under three minutes. Brandon Cannon at 157 pounds won his match by major decision, 19-9, showing great control throughout.

Dylan Fishback secured a pin in the 184-pound class, and Luke Geog outlasted his opponent at 197 pounds for a 7-5 decision.

Lastly, Nick Feldman, wrestling in the heavyweight category, finished his match within just 43 seconds with a quick takedown followed by a pin.
