Ola Electric Secures ARAI Certification for 4680 Bharat Cell Battery: A Game Changer for Made-in-India EVs!

Ola Electric has hit a significant milestone in India’s electric vehicle (EV) scene. The company just received approval from ARAI for its new 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. This battery is entirely designed and manufactured in India, making Ola the first Indian EV brand to achieve this certification for an in-house battery.

The 4680 Bharat Cell boasts a capacity of 5.2 kWh and meets the newest safety standards established by the government. It will initially power the upcoming Ola S1 Pro+, marking a major step for Ola in using a fully Indian-made battery.
