Omarosa Graduates with Juris Doctor from Southern University: A Journey of Determination and Success

Omarosa Manigault Newman has made headlines again, this time for her academic achievements. On May 23, she graduated from Southern University, adding a Juris Doctorate and an MBA to her impressive resume. This marks her third degree from a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

During her time at Southern, Omarosa excelled academically and took on leadership roles. She was president of the Rotaract chapter and served as Senior Editor of the Journal of International Law Business & Policy. Her hard work earned her a spot in the prestigious Order of Barristers, recognizing her skills in legal writing and advocacy.

Reflecting on her journey, Omarosa expressed pride in balancing her education with her work in entertainment. “Graduating from Southern University Law School has been an enriching experience,” she said. “I look forward to using my legal education to lead with purpose and advocate for justice.”

Omarosa’s educational path started at Central State University in Ohio, where she earned a bachelor’s in communications, followed by a master’s from Howard University. Even while studying, she maintained a presence in the television world, recently competing in Hulu’s “Got to Get Out.”

Known for her tenure on Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice,” Omarosa has also appeared on shows like “Celebrity Apprentice,” “The Surreal Life,” and “Celebrity Big Brother.” Her television career paved the way for her role as Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison during the Trump administration. This blend of media presence and political experience complements her recent legal education.
