Hirschman managed to snag third place, which turned out to be his best finish of the week. It’s been a tough few days for him, and he wasn’t feeling great on Wednesday either.

“I’ve been under the weather today,” Hirschman shared. “I haven’t eaten anything since breakfast. It’s been a rough week for both me and the car. I lost my drive at the same time as the 64 [of Catalano], and with Emerling right there, it didn’t work out. But I gave it my all.”

Despite the challenges, Hirschman remains optimistic. “It’s not a bad week overall. We faced some unexpected mechanical issues, which didn’t help us collect race notes to improve. I’m not trying to make excuses. It’s been tough, but our team is still pushing hard. We have two races left, and I’m hopeful we can grab a win.”

Rypkema finished fourth, while Lutz took fifth place.

There are two races still to come for the Tour-type Modifieds at the World Series of Asphalt. On Thursday evening, they will have a 50-lap feature, followed by the big finale, the Richie Evans Memorial 100, on Friday night.
