Organizations, including publishers and artists, have formed the Creative Rights in AI Coalition to defend copyright protections. They argue that the government’s responsibility is to safeguard the interests of creators.

McCartney urged the government to take action. “You need to protect the creative thinkers and artists, or you might lose them,” he said. It’s a compelling call to ensure the rights of artists in an age where technology is rapidly evolving.
