SEATTLE, Wash. – Laura Pellicoro has made headlines again! She was named the MPSF female athlete of the week, marking her second award in just three weeks.
At the UW Husky Classic in Seattle, Pellicoro shattered the school record in the 800-meter race. With an impressive time of 2:00.92, she currently ranks sixth in the NCAA. Out of 53 athletes in her event, she took second place and her time is nearly seven seconds faster than the next best in the MPSF this season.
The Pilots are gearing up for the MPSF Championships, which will take place from February 21 to 22 at The Podium in Spokane, Wash. It’s an exciting time for the team!
