She explained that she found every page filled with untruths and decided to make a statement at that moment. “Unless you have something that is a moment,” she stated, referring to the significance of her action.

Pelosi urged her party to concentrate on the upcoming midterm elections in 2026 rather than dwelling on Trump’s presidency. She stressed the importance of this fall for Democratic support, pointing out that winning just three more seats could significantly change the balance of power. “This fall is everything,” she said, indicating that the focus should be on building support for the future.
