Guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins have filed a lawsuit against their former bandmate, Perry Farrell, claiming assault, battery, emotional distress, negligence, and contract violations. In turn, Farrell has responded with his own lawsuit against Navarro, Avery, and Perkins, citing nearly identical allegations. Additionally, Farrell claims the reunion tour for Jane’s Addiction was canceled without his input, leaving him shocked. He asserts he was prepared to continue performing and felt blindsided by the decision.

Farrell and his wife, Etty Lau Farrell, are seeking damages for physical injuries and emotional distress from this incident, among other claims.
