The Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their Super Bowl win with a parade that began at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday morning. The procession led to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where a formal ceremony took place.
It has been an exciting week for the Eagles. After their big win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, MVP Jalen Hurts kicked off the celebrations at Walt Disney World in Orlando. The next day, he joined running back Saquon Barkley and the offensive line on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Hurts continued his media tour, appearing on CBS Mornings and The View. Meanwhile, Barkley made a surprise visit to a Raising Cane’s in Pennsylvania, where he greeted customers.
The parade day was electric with excitement. Fans lined the streets early, eager to catch a glimpse of their heroes. The iconic Philadelphia “Love” sign was even dressed up for the occasion, adding to the festive spirit.
With schools closed for the day, many young fans joined in on the celebration. Even Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes couldn’t resist making a comment about the Eagles’ victory days after the win.
Interestingly, a couple decided to get married during the celebrations, tying the knot while also celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl title.
As the parade moved forward, the excitement grew. Saquon Barkley received cheers from fans, a stark contrast to the boos he faced a year ago. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni proudly held the Vince Lombardi trophy, while tight end Grant Calcaterra soaked in the moment.
Jason Kelce was particularly nostalgic, celebrating alongside his former teammates, keeping alive the memories from the 2018 parade.
