New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared important insights on leadership during the School of Ultimate Leadership conclave. He emphasized the need for leaders who think globally but remain rooted in Indian values. “We need individuals who can understand the world while keeping an Indian perspective,” he said.
Modi stressed that effective leadership should reflect India’s vision across all sectors, from government to business. It’s crucial for leaders to tackle global challenges while promoting India’s interests internationally.
He pointed out India’s rise as a global force and the necessity for world-class leaders to help maintain this momentum. Modi believes that institutions like the School of Ultimate Leadership can play a significant role in cultivating such leaders.
Focusing on the importance of human resources, he called for leaders who can drive innovation and harness skills effectively. He gave the example of Gujarat, a state often questioned about its future due to limited natural resources. Despite doubts, Gujarat is thriving, largely due to strong leadership. Interestingly, even without diamond mines of its own, the state handles about 90% of the world’s diamonds.
The School of Ultimate Leadership aims to nurture leaders dedicated to the public good. This two-day event will bring together influential figures from various fields—including politics, sports, arts, media, and social sectors—to share their stories and offer valuable insights on leadership.
