New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently emphasized the importance of quality in manufacturing during his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address. He encouraged industries and start-ups to make excellence a part of their identity. “Indian products should be known for their top quality,” he stated, pushing for zero-defect manufacturing across various sectors, including textiles and technology.
Modi also celebrated the growth of India’s start-up ecosystem, which has become the third-largest in the world in just ten years. He pointed out that today’s start-ups are innovating in fields like artificial intelligence, space, and biotechnology—areas that seemed far-fetched a decade ago.
“You name it, you’ll find an Indian start-up working in that area,” he remarked. His words show a deep appreciation for young entrepreneurs driving this change. Their creativity and passion are vital for shaping India’s future.
Interestingly, according to a survey by NASSCOM, the Indian tech start-up space is expected to reach $500 billion by 2025. This shows that Modi’s vision aligns with market trends, and the potential for growth is enormous.
The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to celebrate National Voters Day and the spirit of Republic Day, reminding citizens of their crucial role in democracy.
In a world where quality often gets sidelined for quantity, Modi’s call for excellence serves as a reminder of the standards that matter, paving the way for a brighter future where Indian products shine globally.
