Prajanchai Delivers an Unforgettable Masterclass to Defend His Strawweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE Fight Night 28!

Prajanchai PK Saenchai proved once again why elite martial artists are champions. In a thrilling match at ONE Fight Night 28, he faced off against Ellis Badr Barboza for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.

The fight took place on February 7 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, and it was an impressive display of skill. Prajanchai ended the bout with a TKO in the fourth round, but it wasn’t a quick finish. It was a methodical dismantling of his opponent.

From the start, Prajanchai was in control. He carefully tested Barboza with jabs, gauging his responses and setting him up for bigger strikes. Barboza, showing courage, tried to trade punches with him. However, as the rounds progressed, Prajanchai’s experience shone through, and he began to dominate.

By the end of the third round, Barboza was clearly struggling. Prajanchai landed precise elbows and punches, leaving his opponent looking battered.

The turning point came in the fourth round. Prajanchai delivered a devastating elbow that injured Barboza’s eye. The referee, Olivier Coste, paused the fight to let the ringside doctor check the injury. Sensing victory, Prajanchai climbed onto the turnbuckle, eagerly awaiting the decision.

Following the doctor’s assessment, the fight was stopped, awarding Prajanchai his 344th career win. He also received a $100,000 bonus from ONE’s Chairman, Chatri Sityodtong. With both the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Titles in hand, Prajanchai returned to his training camp, reinforcing his legacy in the sport.
