Prepare for a Powerful Winter Storm: Environment Canada Warns of Significant Impact Wednesday Evening to Thursday

  • Mount Forest – Arthur – Northern Wellington County
  • Innisfil – New Tecumseth – Angus

What’s Forecasted:
Expect significant snowfall from Wednesday evening to Thursday afternoon. Total snow could reach between 20 to 40 cm. During the storm, snow may fall at rates over 5 cm per hour, leading to poor visibility. Northeasterly winds may reach 50 km/h, causing blowing snow in some areas.

When to Expect It:
The storm will begin Wednesday evening and taper off by Thursday afternoon.
