PENDER COUNTY, NC — THINK Pender Strong is kicking off the 2026 Emergency Food & Resource Drive. This month-long event aims to boost hurricane preparedness and strengthen community resilience in Pender County.
Running from May 1 to June 6, the drive will gather essential supplies at local businesses and churches. Key collection events are set for May 16 and May 30 at Food Lion locations and Piggly Wiggly in Burgaw. Boy Scouts will lend a hand during these events.
