JPC On One Nation One Elections: The names of 21 members of the Joint Committee of Parliament fashioned for One Country One Election have been revealed. These 21 members are from Lok Sabha. However, the Joint Committee of Parliament will have 31 members tomorrow, of which 21 members will be from Lok Sabha and 10 members from Rajya Sabha.
The title of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who was elected MP for the primary time, can also be included within the checklist of Lok Sabha members. The tenure of the Joint Committee of Parliament will be until the final week of the funds session, when this committee will have to current its report earlier than the House. BJP has 10 members, Congress three, TMC, SP, Shiv Sena, NCP (SP), DMK, TDP, RLD and Janasena have one member every.

The authorities introduced two payments on Tuesday
On Tuesday, the federal government launched two payments within the Lok Sabha as a part of its plan to carry simultaneous elections throughout the nation. The opposition has alleged that this step of the federal government is anti-constitutional and weakens the federal construction. Last week, the Cabinet had accredited the Constitution 129th Bill and the Union Territory Act.
The authorities didn’t get majority within the House
On Tuesday, the opposition demanded a division of votes to determine on the introduction of the payments, following which voting occurred, through which 269 MPs voted in favor and 198 in opposition to. The Congress raised this hole, saying that the federal government doesn’t have the two-thirds majority within the House, which is required to cross the constitutional modification invoice.
