As a player, Ashton won an Iowa State Championship in high school and achieved honors throughout his college career, including playing for teams that reached national tournament stages.
Experts in the field are optimistic about Ashton’s future at Purdue Northwest. Justin Wieck, head coach at Minnesota Duluth, praised Ashton’s recruitment abilities and his immediate impact on their program. "This is a home run hire for Purdue," Wieck said.
