During a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony, hospital leaders emphasized how this new technology will positively impact patient care. The microscopes will be instrumental in various surgical specialties, making procedures in ENT, neurosurgery, and general surgery safer and more precise. Surgeons can now see fine details of arteries and other anatomical features, which can lead to better health outcomes for patients.
“Every resident deserves quality healthcare, regardless of their background,” said Borough President Richards. “These new microscopes are an investment in our community’s health and will help our dedicated healthcare workers provide top-level care.”
