Rahul Gandhi On Dewas Incident: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday (December 30, 2024) fiercely attacked BJP over the incidents of atrocities towards Dalit and tribal communities. He described the incidents of homicide of a Dalit youth in police custody in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh and brutality towards tribal ladies in Balasore, Odisha as unhappy and shameful. He said that these incidents are the consequence of BJP’s Manuwadi pondering and the authorities is behind it.
Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media platform It is extraordinarily condemnable that such incidents are taking place one after one other in the states dominated by BJP – this isn’t potential with out the instigation of the authorities.”
‘Such barbarity is not going to be tolerated’
He additional said, “Such brutality against the Bahujans of the country will not be tolerated at any cost. We are with them, we will fight with all our strength for their constitutional rights and to get them justice.”
What is the matter of Dewas?
A Dalit youth died in police custody in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh. The police had detained an individual named Mukesh Longre. During interrogation he dedicated suicide by hanging himself. At the similar time, the relations have accused the police of homicide. The police station was additionally surrounded concerning this. Dewas SP has suspended the inspector of the police station in this case.
